Safe Transitions has a full-time Program Coordinator position open in Cloquet, MN.

The Designated Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for all aspects of the program operation as assigned by the Director.  The PC assures that recipients of the corporation’s services receive the highest quality services possible.  This is done through supervision of staff, coordination of services, direct services to recipients, and cooperation and communication with administration.

A Bachelor’s degree or AA degree in human service related field or a minimum of four years of full-time experience working with adults with mental illness is required.  Also required: a valid driver’s license, acceptable driver on current auto insurance policy, high school diploma or equivalent, state and county background clearance, and successful completion of Safe Transitions’ new employee checklist and trainings. You may be required to drive your own vehicle if a company vehicle is not available.

The PC will be an hourly, non-exempt employee, and will be scheduled for some direct care.  Main hours of work will be Monday thru Friday, however hours may vary according to the need of the corporation and clients. Special circumstances may require evening and weekend work. The PC must also be available for calls during off hours for emergencies, fill in, and staff questions.
