Safe Transitions, the pioneer in foster care for adults with mental illness, currently has full-time and part-time Mental Health Worker positions available in the Cloquet area. 

Safe Transitions is looking for a dependable and positive role models to work as Mental Health Workers in adult foster care homes. Our current openings in the Cloquet area for Full-Time, Part-Time and Fill-In staff. Varying shifts available.

Mental Health Workers (MHW) provides direct services to clients according to support plans.The MHW is directly responsible for the monitoring of client behaviors and program activities to assure the safety and well-being of each client. The MHW is responsible for delivering the highest quality services possible.


Requirements for employment are:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Experience working with adults with mental illness is preferred
  • State & County Background Clearance
  • You may be required to drive your own vehicle if a company vehicle is not available
  • Successful completion of the corporation’s new employee checklist & trainings
