Genesis

Genesis is a spacious two-story five bedroom home.   Entering from front into an inviting living room, forward and left into dining-room and attached L-shaped kitchen or right into TV room, circling into kitchen, with the grill out back on patio.   We have two and one half-bathrooms.   Some residents work in the community keeping active with local bowling league play.   Others may prefer to hike after a hard day’s work, enjoying the scenery, wildlife or the changing season.  We’re conveniently located three blocks away from downtown businesses or if you prefer a hike; we’re close by Robinson Park.   Hiking trails with groomed walkways, passing rock formations, carved and stacked rocks in an abandoned quarry, close-by the Kettle River, hiding more than one fishing-hole.   Community resources include a few close-by restaurants, Country Western Music concert hall, grocery store with deli, antique, and hardware store.   Video rental, banks, along with City Hall, Urgent Care Center and the local library.    Activities may include bowling, concerts, dining out with friends and co-workers, shopping for personal needs, matinee or movies, an occasional pizza night out.   If you’re looking for a more casual atmosphere this may be the house for you.  

Those who live at Genesis must be able to navigate steps to access their bedrooms.  The program is designed to the individual needs of each client.  Daytime staffing is provided with live-in staff coverage at night.  Additional staffing is added as needed for each individual served.
