Safe Horizons

Safe Horizons is a brand new one-level fully handicapped accesible home.  There are 5 bedrooms which allow each resident to have their own room.  There are 2 ½ bathrooms and main floor laundry.  Safe Horizons is located in a rural setting within the city, walking distance to downtown for shopping, library, movies, coffee shops or some relaxing fishing in the nearby lake. Safe Horizons has lovely scenery perfect for relaxing on warm summer evenings,  entertaining, playing yard games or to watch the various wild life that call this home. Independent living skills are taught and encouraged to promote the highest level of functioning possible. We provide weekly shopping trips, social groups and activities trips planned by the residents. A fully accessible handicapped van is available at Safe Horizons.  Some past activities include trips to the state fair, Monster Truck shows, Barbeques, picnics at the local state parks and Scenic train rides. If you are someone who enjoys the country, but likes the city this may be the house for you.
